I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Rochester, advised by Prof. William Thomson.
Research Interest: Microeconomic Theory, Market Design, Fair Division
My current line of research investigates fair allocation in the sharing economy: how digital platforms should divide revenues or costs among participants in a way that is both principled and practical.
I model a variety of real-world problems, including sharing revenues among contributors in crowdfunding, dividing costs among passengers in ride-sharing, and distributing subscription fees among artists on music streaming platforms. Using the axiomatic approach, I design and analyze allocation rules that satisfy desirable properties such as order preservation, monotonicity, consistency, reallocation invariance, and so on.
